Author you’ve read the most books from:
Narinder Dhami. As a kid I've collected 20+ of her books (even though they're essentially the same exact story just with different characters). In primary 6 I came to the conclusion that these books were too expensive for my pocket money and opted in re-reading all my favourite ones in the collection. Still, I'd buy the seasonal edition ones because my kid mind thought that a thicker book would meant a better price. (I was a smart kid, no?)
Best Sequel Ever:
Up to date? Probably Unravel Me. I've never been an avid reader of dystopians and you guys know how much i love the Shatter Me series. Unravel Me just brought it to a whole new level.
Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck. Have to read this for school!
Drink of Choice While Reading:
A nice (big) cup of warm tea.
E-reader or Physical Book?
I can't seem to focus a lot on physical books these days because I simply don't have the time, so since e-books are very accessible, I'd choose e-reader.
Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated In High School:
Emmett from Twilight. I have this thing for bulkier, tall guys. Emmett was my elementary - middle school crush. (Am in HS right now and nobody's appealing atm. THOUGH I LOVE WARNER SO MUCH BUT HE IS FOR JULIETTE SO, OK.)
Glad You Gave This Book A Chance:
Dash & Lily's Book of Dares. I really like that book.
Hidden Gem Book:
Hills like White Elephants by Ernest Hemingway. Technically it's a short story but oh well. Lots of wonderful things you can analyze, only knew about this short story through my english teacher. One of my favourites now.
Important Moment in your Reading Life:
When I created @BookClubID on Twitter. Best decision ever.
I haven't been reading a lot so I'll just state the most recent short story I read (we have to read lots this year for A Level English): All Gold Canyon by Jack London.
Kinds of Books You Won’t Read:
BDSM. Just, meh.
Longest Book You’ve Read:
Order of the Phoenix. Currently the thickest book I own on my shelf.
Major book hangover because of:
A Monster Calls by Patrick Ness. That book.
Number of Bookcases You Own:
One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:
Ruby the Red Fairy. Shh.
Preferred Place To Read:
On me bed.
Quote that inspires you/gives you all the feels from a book you’ve read:
“You're beautiful, but you're empty...One couldn't die for you. Of course, an ordinary passerby would think my rose looked just like you. But my rose, all on her own, is more important than all of you together, since she's the one I've watered. Since she's the one I put under glass, since she's the one I sheltered behind the screen. Since she's the one for whom I killed the caterpillars (except the two or three butterflies). Since she's the one I listened to when she complained, or when she boasted, or even sometimes when she said nothing at all. Since she's my rose." - The Little Prince
I regret not taking up YA books earlier.
Series You Started And Need To Finish(all books are out in series):
The Chaos Walking Trilogy.
Three of your All-Time Favorite Books:
The Hobbit, The Book Thief, A Monster Calls.
Unapologetic Fangirl For:
(AARON) WARNER!!!!!!!!!!! (Shatter Me)
Very Excited For This Release More Than All The Others:
Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi. I mean, come on.
Worst Bookish Habit:
Buying too much books and reading too little of them.
X Marks The Spot: Start at the top left of your shelf and pick the 27th book:
Your latest book purchase:
Unstoppable by Nick Vujicic.
ZZZ-snatcher book (last book that kept you up WAY late):
Grapes of Wrath, just because I tried reading that book at 12AM to try and make me sleep. Made me read it till it was half past 1.
